The School of Homeopathy, one of the oldest and most prestigious School’s in the UK is re-launching its homeopathy home study course in Australia.
The Practitioner Diploma Course now has Advanced Standing with the Australian Register of Homeopaths (AROH). The course combines the flexibility of home study with the rigorous training needed to become a successful homeopathic practitioner. Continually updated and refined since it was first launched over 20 years ago it was the first course of its kind in the world. Well known for its mix of art and science; rigour and creativity; the course weaves together a deep philosophical out look with classical homeopathy. Audio lectures on the course are delivered by some the great UK masters: Misha Norland, Jeremy Sherr, Janet Snowdon, Jo Daly and Murray Feldman all but one of which have gone on to establish their own schools in other parts of the world.
With over 100 students enrolling each year and students in more than 50 countries the School of Homeopathy must be doing something right! Here is what some of the graduates have to say:
I realised that the education and the spirit which informed it was special. I had received a vision of what healing could achieve at the highest level and I was and am passing this on, helping people live at their full potential.
Bill, graduated 1987
It was the beginning of a journey for me that is, of course, still ongoing. It was not just Homeopathy that we were learning, it was healing itself and this has flowed into the very furthest reaches of my being.
Vanessa, graduated 1990
Thank you for giving me a life changing, beautiful experience. Not only did I receive the best homeopathic education, one that is actually world renowned, but I received something that changed my life in the best way possible.
Sue, graduated 2001
With the kind of learning we got here, homeopathy can be a real transformative power in patients’ lives. It’s been a wonderful four years – I couldn’t hope for a better school to learn homeopathy in.
Noam, graduated 2005
The course was first launched in Australia in 1988, and in later years a partnership developed with the Sydney College of Homeopathy however this unfortunately ended in 2005 when the Sydney College of Homeopathy was bought out. A new approach had to be developed to deliver the clinical training aspects of the course in Australia. Using the experience developed from delivering the American and Canadian programs an Australian Reprehensive, Jo Clarke, was taken on. Jo Clarke is a professional, registered Homoeopath who has been using Homoeopathy for over 20 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts, Post Graduate Certificate in Education and certificates in Assessment and Training. Jo has wide experience, knowledge and understanding of working in natural healing and was, until recently, president of the Australian Homoeopathic Association (NSW).
The course, and Jo’s expertise, blend in-depth independent work with hands on, face-to-face training through seminars, workshops and a clinical supervision process. Study groups also provide community and support to student’s independent work.
This flexible approach means that students can begin study with the program at anytime, choose when and where they study, and to what level. They can even ‘port’ the course from one country to another; and have an open invitation to attend classes and clinics at the School of Homeopathy in England. All this adds up to making the course the most in-depth and flexible program available.

Thanks to Jo we now have a clear route to registration with AROH for our Australian students I am sure we can deliver a superb package of blended learning ensuring students become wonderful homeopaths. This approach has been working very well for students in America and Canada - so roll on Australia!
