Justine Evans Justine Evans
Teacher

Justine has always had an interest in natural health, especially cyclic seasonal health using nutrition.  Justine started her training in complementary therapies in 1997, after having her first child, thinking that she wanted to work in occupation remedial therapy as a Swedish and Sports massage therapist. However, her enquiring mind sent her on another journey and she continued training in reflexology, nutrition, Shiatsu and the Vodder method of Manual Lymphatic drainage as her interest in fertility, pregnancy, hormonal wellbeing and immune health grew. Bio-resonance, homeopathy/Homo-toxicology, meditation and Reiki brought Justine through a divorce and since then Justine has integrated these forms of complementary therapy to her naturopathic practice, gaining a degree in Nutritional Medicine, and registering as a Naturopath.

Justine runs a specialised fertility and hormone wellbeing clinic in Greater London integrating functional medicine with nutritional therapy and Eastern philosophy. She has also developed a range of integrative (mind/body/science) natural products to support fertility and pregnancy care as well as tutoring students of Nutritional Therapy and Anatomy & Physiology for the School of Health.

Justine's favourite part about being a tutor is getting to know the students and helping them develop their analytical skills to become well-rounded and enquiring. Nutritional therapy is such an evolving subject, it is deeply satisfying to watch the students develop their confidence and own their knowledge

Justine gained a Diploma in Nutritional Medicine from the Plaskett Nutritional Medicine College (PNMC) which she later topped up to a BSc at the University of West London. She holds ITEC professional diplomas in Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Thai Foot Massage. She also holds qualifications in Bio-resonance, The Vodder Method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage, a BWY Foundation Course in Yoga plus Womb Yoga and she is a Reiki Master/teacher. In 2010 she obtained a PGCE to teach in Higher Education.

Justine grew up in Surrey and initially worked from clinics in Kingston and Twickenham. However, these days she runs her clinic from her home in Hampton Hill, Middlesex and also runs an Etsy shop selling her products and exhibiting at fertility shows and holistic festivals. She loves yoga, her family and animals (two cats, a dog and a guinea pig), being outdoors and the cyclic nature of the seasons and the moon. Justine spends her free time enjoying yoga or attending yoga retreats, Nordic walking plus growing her own veggies, cooking and developing her spiritual practice. Before discovering her present lifestyle Justine owned a recruitment company where she successfully managed to “burn herself out”

“Balance is key. Dance all night long and practice yoga the next day. Drink wine but don’t forget your green juice. Eat chocolate when your heart wants it and kale when your body needs it. Wear high heels on Saturday and walk barefoot on Sunday. Live high and low. Move and stay still. Embrace all sides of who you are and live your truth! Be brave, bold, spontaneous and loud and let that complement your abilities to find silence, patience, modesty and peace. Aim for balance. Make your own rules and don’t let anybody tell you how to live according to theirs”
